What is Block Storage? What is the difference between Block Storage and a Volume?
Block storage or block-level storage is a technology used for storing data usually on Storage Area Networks (SANs) or cloud-based storage environments. The data is stored in fixed-sized raw storage capacity or volumes. Each volume on Block Storage is independent of its other volumes or even the primary disk of the VPS product. However, data on a volume can only be accessed through a VPS.
